Philosophy:
When we open our hearts and minds to believe
in ourselves–when we risk who we are, not who we think we are supposed to
be–we fulfill our passions!
My philosophy contains three words,
Imagine * Risk *
Create™. I believe that people's lives
are their canvas. We all express ourselves
creatively. Creative Process in Healing is designed to enhance that
ability in everyone. This process invites innovative solutions for your
current and historical issues, safely and gently.
There is a difference between creativity and
artmaking. Creativity exists in all of us. Artmaking incorporates
creativity and is related to the arts. Creativity is its own entity,
whether artistically oriented or not.
This intuitive, therapeutic process involves breath,
movement, art, sound, music, writing and verbal and non-verbal
communication. Since we all have different learning styles, we respond
most favorably to those approaches that speak to our individual
needs.
Our communication is 90% nonverbal; yet few of us are
effectively skilled in this area. By understanding the language of our
bodies and accessing the messages that our bodies speak, we invite a
deeper awareness of ourselves and of our relationship with
others.
Creative Process in Healing is about making choices
that support the integration of our emotional, cognitive and physical
well-being. When we're involved in this creative process of discovery, we
can truly experience the beauty and wonder in ourselves.

Services:
I primarily work with life transitions, creativity
