Below is a list of websites and links that provide crucial information and support to families of missing children. National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
A vital resource for families and law enforcement agencies in the search for missing children and the quest for child protection. Includes an extensive missing child database with photographs and information on how you can help the cause. For more information, or to report the sighting of or case of a missing child, call 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678)

International Center for the Search and Recovery of Missing Children
Encourages active participation from the Web community in the search and recovery of missing children. Includes pictures and profiles of missing children, plus composites of suspected abductors where applicable. English and Spanish.

Parents Advocating for Recovery through Education by Networking Together (P.A.R.E.N.T)
A  non-profit international advocacy organization working with parents and agencies world wide to bring about greater awareness and understanding concerning international child abduction and to seek measures leading to the prevention and remedy of this growing global problem.

Operation Go Home
This site focuses on reuniting runaway youths (18 and under) with their families. Includes information on liaison services, travel assistance, agency referrals, professional counsel and more.

The Vanished Children's Alliance
Featuring posted photographs and key data on missing children.

Missing Children Society of Canada
An international resource assisting law enforcement and parents searching for missing children. Program supports distribution of photographs, gathering of data, moral support for families, key referrals and more.

Greyhound Home Free
Information about a free transportation service for runaway children who are ready to go home.

Kids ID – Child Identification System
 If your child is reported missing Kids ID will send your child's information across town, the country or around the globe using the World Wide Web. Special programs for schools, school districts, PTAs and non-profit organizations.

Travelers Aid and KidsCall
A joint effort designed to encourage young people who have left home to re-establish contact with their home community. Hotline programs, referrals, counseling. For more information send e-mail to Travelers Aid at travelers.aid@worldnet.att.net

North America Missing Children Association
Headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, this association has some useful tips and information to aid your search, as well as a page to register a missing child. A list of individual and corporate sponsors is listed. Mail may be sent directly to namca@namca.com.
